Within the framework of ensuring the right of persons with disabilities to participate in all stages of the election process, to vote and to be elected, the General Agency for Development of Persons with Disabilities and the Mongolian National Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities organized trainings for all GEC staff. The training covered the legal environment in the field of disability, how to form the right to vote and stand for election, disability and equality, and an open discussion. As a result of the training, the General Election Commission, the National Agency for the Development of Persons with Disabilities and non-governmental organizations agreed to jointly organize a training for election commission staff in 2020 to provide them with the right attitudes and understanding of people with disabilities.
